World Of Warcraft Classic’s Season Of Mastery Servers Are Now Live

World of Warcraft Classic’s new Season of Mastery progression servers are now live, giving players and their friends a chance to start fresh and work their way up to level 60 all over again. Whoop! Unlike the original Classic servers, content releases will be much faster in Season of Mastery servers as Blizzard Entertainment explains in the official announcement post:
“As with the first release of WoW Classic, we’re planning six content release phases,” said the devs. “In WoW Classic Season of Mastery, however, phase unlocks will happen faster. We’re planning for a 12-month cadence, with phases unlocking roughly every couple months.”
Phase 1, which is now live, includes the PvP Honor System and Battlegrounds for those who can’t wait to test their skills against other players. The Honor System was released in Phase 3 of WoW Classic while Battlegrounds came out as part of Phase 4.
Once the server runs its course, players will be able to transfer their characters to one of the existing Classic servers.
