World of Warcraft Classic: Wrath Of The Lich King Starts Beta Testing This Summer

Now that the final raid for The Burning Crusade Classic is live, players are now looking forward to marching on the Icecrown Citadel in the Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The next expansion for the World of Warcraft Classic server is slated to launch later this year with a beta test scheduled for this summer.
“We’re really excited to get Wrath on beta in the next two to three months,” said Executive Producer Holly Longdale in an interview with Shack News. “It’s important to us because some of the changes we’re thinking about making will be informed by the community.”
One of those changes is the removal of the dungeon finder system which has been a bit of a hot topic since WoTLK Classic was first announced last month. The dungeon finder was first introduced when the expansion originally launched in 2008 but will be removed from the classic version to purportedly encourage more social interaction between players. Although, these social interactions will probably be limited to spamming the chat box with LFG messages.
