World Of Warcraft Classic Devs Address Pressing Questions About Season Of Discovery

The World of Warcraft community council has reconvened to talk about the future of WoW Classic’s Season of Discovery in a new Q&A video. The council touched on a wide range of topics related to the game-altering season and addressed several pain points brought forth by the community.
One of the main player complaints that came up during the Q&A session was the frustration over the inability to carry more than one supply crate. In the current build, players who pick up a supply crate are faced with the choice to either make their way back to a major city to turn it in or risk losing out if another one drops while they’re still carrying it. The developers acknowledged the issue but it looks like supply crates will remain as they are for the time being.
The council also confirmed that runes will unlock new class roles in the upcoming phases and that players will get to keep their characters when the season ends, although they’ve yet to decide where those characters will go.
They also noted the quickly diminishing supply of quests as players farm them for gold. A proposed remedy is to grant players XP when they turn in supply crates, which goes back to the current issue of not being able to carry more than one supply crate at a time.
Another hot topic that came up was Battle of Ashenvale. The developers assured the community that they learned a lot from the PvP event and will be taking those lessons to heart for future events.
