Wizards of the Coast Releases Magic Duels
Tabletop gaming powerhouse, Wizards of the Coast has finally released the grandfather of all CCGs to the digital market in the form of Magic Duels: Origins. While there have been previous iterations of Magic The Gathering in the digital realm, each one suffered from being clunky or simply too overpriced… one such iteration even included a card trade system where digital cards could be traded in for their physical counterparts.
Magic Duels brings the classic collectible card game gameplay into a fully digital format after they seem to have learned some lessons from Hearthstone’s success. The game has been released for PC via Steam and iPad, iPhone with XBOX One and PS4 iterations on the way.
The game also features a story mode, for those who want to try out a single player experience.
