Wild Terra 0.7.13 Pushed To Test Servers

While I haven't played it yet, I've been watching Wild Terra pretty intently. The action RPG/sandbox hybrid, which appears to be a midway point between games like Mir and Lineage, Mortal Online, and Haven and Hearth, seems incredibly promising. Even in its early state, the self-proclaimed MMO survival game already appears far more competent than many other survival games we've seen in recent years, containing full building and farming components.

With update 0.7.13, it becomes just a bit more competent. The update, which was pushed to test servers yesterday, changes land capture mechanics so that land ownership is determined by a structure made specifically for it, replacing one of the roles beds previously took on. Unfortunately, the patch notes are currently only in Russian and I am using Google Translate to read them so this structure is known to me only by what is possibly a completely incorrect name, "dominium." The addition of the dominium structure allows for the dominion of a settlement to expand beyond their walls and for the amount of land grabbed by placing a dominium to be previewed before placing it. Since beds, which are generally regarded as having a sole owner, are no longer the primary manner of claiming territory, it is now also possible to co-own land.

Some other, more minor additions were made to the game in the form of crafting recipes for benches, steel knives, axes, sickles, hammers, saws, shields, steel-tipped arrows, and cast iron ballista shells. Bugs such as exhaustion persisting after death and resources not being spent during construction were also crushed in this update.

As you might have guessed from the patch notes only being available in Russian, the update is currently only available on the Russian test server. The English server has yet to receive the update. However, the English server is not being left out in the cold. Today, the Wild Terra team announced that they are looking for help with spell checking the English client.
