Wayfinder Promises Inventory Fixes And Increased XP Gains Coming Soon

Fantasy action MMORPG Wayfinder is due for a big update soon that promises fixes for known issues with the inventory system. Developer Airship Syndicate initially planned to roll out the inventory revamp last week but decided to postpone it for more QA testing due to the extent of the changes that it will make to player inventories.
The silver lining is that the developers have taken advantage of the extra time to incorporate player feedback and fix more issues. The update will also increase XP earned from mini-bosses and hunts by 150% and 300%, respectively. The hope is to encourage players who left because of launch issues to return, now that most of the problems have been fixed and they’ll be able to level up much faster than before.
Airship Syndicate also promises to improve the overall player experience during the game’s stint in early access. The studio assured players that their current goal isn’t to acquire more players but to improve, optimize, and polish existing game systems. They’ll shift their focus back to growing the playerbase with the start of the second founder’s season in preparation for the game’s full release and free-to-play transition in 2024.
