Warcraft Rumble Kicks Off Season 3 Tomorrow With A Fiery New Leader In Tow

Things are about to heat up in Warcraft Rumble as the free-to-play mobile tower defense game prepares for the start of a brand-new season next week. Season 3 is scheduled to kick off tomorrow and will introduce a fiery new leader in the form of Emperor Thaurissan of the Dark Iron Clan.

“Straight from the searing heat of Blackrock Depths comes the new playable Leader, Emperor Thaurissan,” Blizzard announced. “His mastery over fire and earth makes him a deadly combatant both at range and up close, with his Lava Spike attack able to burn distant foes and deal physical damage those foolish enough to close the distance.”

He’ll be unlockable in Season 3 from the Guild Warchest, as a PvP reward, or through the cash shop but won’t be playable until Season 4. The new season will also introduce the new Judgement Tower skin and a plethora of balance tweaks. A new PvP map rotation and a new PvP mechanic called Enchants that introduces random match modifiers like increased tower damage, gold gains that scale up with health points, and an enchantment that turns PvP matches into a “good old fashioned brawl.”
