Visions Of Vetrovia Broke EverQuest 2 Servers On Launch Day

EverQuest 2’s Visions of Vetrovia expansion is now live in the long-running fantasy MMORPG but not before it ran into a serious problem on launch day. The servers were down for nine hours following the expansion’s launch while Darkpaw Games sorted out a database issue.

The good news is that the issue has been fixed and players can now enjoy the plethora of new content that the expansion has to offer, including a new continent inhabited by dinosaurs and supernatural creatures. There’s also new quests, dungeons, and raids along with a higher level cap to accommodate the new content.
