Vindictus: Defying Fate Kicks Off Pre-Alpha Testing With Small-Scale Multiplayer Next Week

Nexon is moving full steam ahead with Vindictus: Defying Fate as it prepares to kick off pre-alpha testing for the Vindictus standalone spinoff next week.
When the studio announced the game last week, it promised the addition of a multiplayer mode sometime after its launch. Testers, however, will get a taste of multiplayer action ahead of the pack as it will apparently be included in the upcoming playtest.
“Nexon is pleased to show even more of Vindictus: Defying Fate, their upcoming fast-paced action RPG, to their buzzing community with a free, public pre-alpha playtest,” the South Korean publisher announced. “The test will provide access to a build of the game still in a very early stage of development and feature a demo-level play of combat with two playable characters, Fiona and Lann, regions based on early-world concepts, emotes, and outfits for testing purposes.”
The pre-alpha test will run from March 13 at 6 p.m. PDT to March 18 at 1 a.m. PDT. Sign-ups are now open through the Vindictus: Defying Fate Steam page. There’s also a brand new trailer waiting for you down below.
