Valorant Hits Record High Monthly Active Users and Revenue in Q2 2022

Tencent, the parent company of Riot Games, released their Q2 2022 earnings report today and in it was a bit of detail surrounding Valorant's performance. For the April-June period Valorant "achieved record-high MAU (monthly active users) and quarterly grossing receipts". Tencent also called out Valorant specifically as a strong a top performer in their International Games segment with the game's revenue "receipts up significantly YoY".
This shouldn't be too surprising given Valorant's consistently high viewership on Twitch, but it's official now - Valorant is doing better than ever. League of Legends on the other hand saw a decline in revenues year over year, though no word on how big that decline was. League's decline was attributed to timing of content updates though, core performance wasn't bad.
