V Rising Is Giving Away A Free Castle Décor Pack, Announces Free Trial Weekend
Trying to make a vampire survival MMORPG spookier for Halloween isn’t exactly an easy task, which is probably why decided to just give away a DLC to celebrate the season. The Haunted Nights Castle Pack can now be downloaded for free on Steam which includes a bunch of themed castle decorations including a new coffin style, carpets, drapes, light sources, and a standing mirror even though vampires supposedly have no reflections.
Note that while you’ll be able to claim the DLC for free without actually buying V Rising, you’ll obviously need a copy of the base game to be able to use the items in the pack. The good news is that the base game is currently on sale at 20% off until November 7th if you’re interested in picking it up. You can also try out the game for free this weekend from October 28th through November 1st.
In addition to giving away free in-game items, Stunlock Studios has also added new Mad Hunt presets for PvE and PvP servers, which come with three new settings: Shuffle V Blood Locations, Shuffle V Blood Abilities, and Shuffle V Blood Tech. The studio also teased a “bigger expansion” scheduled for release at the turn of the year.
