Upcoming Pokémon GO Update To Include Pokémon Trading

According to a talk that Business Insider had with Niantic CEO John Hanke, an upcoming Pokémon GO update will include "a core element" of Pokémon—Pokémon trading. Players will be able to trade with friends and strangers alike, allowing those inclined to simply trade with someone who has caught them all rather than catching them all themselves.

The manner in which trading will work has yet to be detailed. However, much like many of the game's other features, Hanke did say that it will encourage players to interact in both the digital and physical worlds.
