Ubisoft continues to bring back its games to Steam as the French publisher announces that four more games scheduled for release on the platform this summer: Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Extraction, Riders Republic, and Monopoly Madness.

Here are the Steam release dates for the said games:

It's been a long journey for Ubisoft, which had previously shifted its focus away from Steam and onto the Epic Games Store. But after a three-year hiatus from the Steam marketplace, Ubisoft's triumphant return was heralded by the recent debuts of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Roller Champions, and Immortals Fenyx Rising.

Although it's unclear why Ubisoft has decided to bring these games back to Steam, it's possible that the company is looking to cash in on Steam's larger user base. Epic Games Store is known for its lower sales cut, with only 12% compared to Valve's 20-30% on Steam. However, with the older games in Ubisoft's roster, sales may have slowed, leading the company to rethink its strategy.

It's also worth noting that there doesn't appear to be any obvious window of exclusivity that has expired for any of these games. In fact, it's possible that the exclusivity deal was open-ended, and Ubisoft simply decided to come back to Steam after reevaluating its options.

Either way, this is great news for gamers who prefer to use the Steam platform. With Ubisoft's return, we can expect to see a wider range of games available on Steam and more opportunities to play our favorite titles.
