Type-Moon Releases Fate/Grand Order For Mobile

Creators of Fate/Stay Night And Tsukihime, Type-Moon, has released their mobile online RPG Fate/Grand Order. In Fate/Grand Order, players take on the role of a "Master" who summons a "Servant" to fight in a battle for the Holy Grail. Servants are Heroic Spirits that are summoned throughout the ages from Joan of Arc, King Arthur, Alexander the Great and even Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Players can fight with two of their collection of Servants against enemy minions and eventually other Servants, with the help of a third Servant that belongs to another player on your friend's list.

The game features leveling up, items and character management... eventually leading up to being able to unleash Noble Phantasms which are "crystalized mysteries", powerful armaments that are used by heroes-- For example King Arthur wields the legendary Excalibur as her Noble Phantasm.

The game is currently out for Android and iOS in Japan, but there have been no news as of yet for an English version. We can only hope that we'll get one with the recent release of the Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works animation that is viewable on Netflix.

You can check out the official Fate/Grand Order website here, and you can play for free if you're able to brave the account creation in Japanese.
