Turkish Blockchain MMORPG Rise Online World Launches April 15
Rise Online World, a faction-based PvP MMORPG developed by Turkish studio Rokosoft, will officially be launching on April 15th. The game will be free-to-play and will come with all the trappings of a traditional MMORPG with one unsurprising addition, NFTs.
According to Rokosoft, players will be able to convert their actual characters into NFTs that they can then trade and sell to other players. They can also earn a royalty of sorts from future sales of their NFT characters. Transactions will use ROCO tokens and the studio’s own blockchain ecosystem that’s developed on the Avalanche (AVAX) platform.
“You will be able to convert your characters in the game into NFTs and use them as an endless artifact, transfer them to others, and even receive inheritance commission from their subsequent sales as the first owner,” said the studio.
