Tower Of Fantasy Will Send You To The Forbidden County In Version 3.4: Butterfly In The Abyss

Tower of Fantasy will be opening up the Forbidden County region to adventurers later this month when the Butterfly in the Abyss update hits the live servers. The update will pick up the storyline from where it left off in Version 3.3: A Sword Dance of Ice and will send players to the ominously named zone to confront Nan Yin once and for all.

“In this all new 3.4 update, Wanderers will get the chance to explore the deepest parts of Marshville, with howling winds, bustling snow, two new bosses and a host of challenges, making the journey as treacherous as ever. Along the way, they will encounter traces of past generations’ efforts to defend against the Darkness and uncover their secrets in the process.”

In addition to the encounter with Nan Yin, players will also face off against a half-human, half-fish entity of Darkness named Merbelle as well as swarms of bat-like creatures called Hidewings and Rockwings. Players will also be able to do their part to defend against the encroaching Darkness in a new world event called the Field of Execution. As part of the event, players must work together to gather resources and build defenses against the Darkness, culminating in a boss fight against Xingtian.

Butterfly in the Abyss comes out on November 21st. For now, you can check out the official update trailer below.
