Tower of Fantasy players can now begin their new adventures in the new desert region of Vera as Version 2.0 officially goes live. Version 2.0 is the anime MMORPG’s first major update since it launched globally back in August.

The update also introduces a set of new quests and raids tied to the new region, along with new monsters and weapons, and the new floating cyberbunk city of Mirroria. The city serves as a new player hub and is one of the few areas in Vera that’s safe from radioactive fallout.

Version 2.0’s release also marks Tower of Fantasy’s official launch on Steam. The Steam version comes complete with all of the updates and contents released over the past few months, including Version 2.0, and supports full cross-play and cross-progression. Level Infinite has posted an FAQ with steps on how to bind your account on Steam to prevent possible data loss.

But wait, there’s more! Version 2.0 also comes with a quality-of-life update for controller users which includes various optimization improvements and an interface cursor function. The team is also working on more controller improvements including custom configurations for PlayStation controllers and more UI input prompts.

You can check out the full Version 2.0 release notes on the Tower of Fantasy official site.
