New Mobile Action RPG Tome of the Sun Launching April 28th
China's second largest game developer, Netease, is launching yet another mobile title in the West - Tome of the Sun. Despite already being available on Google Play, the game's official launch date is April 28th, 2016. Tome of the Sun will be available on both iOS and Android and features cartoony chibi graphics. Up until seeing the launch trailer for the game (below), I haven't even heard of Tome of the Sun, but Netease has proven itself to be a strong competitor in the mobile games universe with the success of Eternal Arena.

NetEase, Inc. has today announced that Tome of the Sun, the company’s next mobile game release in Western markets, will launch on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and Google Play for Android devices on April 28. Tome of the Sun will be free to download and is a fast-paced action RPG created for tap controls, featuring a massively multiplayer world.
Tome of the Sun brings an action MMO experience to mobile with an anime-influenced art style. Players customize their chibi-style characters and collect adorable battle pets for support in combat, using intuitive touch controls to quickly smash, roll, and dodge their way through short, action-packed dungeons. With full crafting, leveling, and equipment upgrading systems, single and co-op game modes, as well as duels, arenas, and clan wars, Tome of the Sun is a deep action RPG tailored to a mobile gaming experience.
