Some Of theHunter: Call Of The Wild's Connection Issues Have Been Fixed

It's no secret that theHunter: Call of the Wild launched with a large number of issues, not least of which includes players' inventories locking up after various amounts of playtime, an assortment of crashes, including crashing on startup, and a wide range of connection issues in multiplayer. The team at Expansive Worlds is working on fixing these issues, but the bulk of them will take more time.
In the meantime, a patchthat addresses several connection issues and various crashes went out today. As long as both the player hosting a game session and the player attempting to join that game session both have the game open, they should be able to join the game through Steam's "Join Game" or "Invite to Game" features. The crash to desktop that occurred when joining a game you were invited to is also said to have been fixed.
Additionally, the team has put out a note stating that, while there are currently issues with editing your keybindings, if you disable Steam Cloud synchronization for the game and edit the keybindings json file manually, you can, in fact, make use of custom keybindings. A more permanent fix will be implemented at a later time.
