The Tale of Lost City Brings Up Nostalgia For Ragnarok Online

A mobile MMORPG titled The Tale of Lost City recently launched in Hong Kong and I can't help but feel nostalgia for Ragnarok Online after watching gameplay footage, thanks to MMOCulture.

The gameplay below instantly calls to mind riding a Peco Peco and brandishing a spear in RO. But don't get me wrong. The Tale of Lost City is certainly its own game, only able to draw comparison superficially.

It appears that players crawl through linear dunegons, slaying monsters, and gearing up before ascending to the next class and repeating the process. And if you feel like staring out the bus window you can turn on automated combat.

I have my doubts this one will head Westward. But if you click around on the website, and get lucky, you should be able to play—barring you speak the language.
