Nexon’s Project Magnum Is Now ‘The First Descendant’, Beta Signups Now Open

Almost a year ago, Nexon announced a new sci-fi fantasy co-op looter shooter for PC and consoles codenamed Project Magnum. The game was also one of the new games showcased by the South Korean developer back in August 2021. Back then, it wasn’t clear whether the game would be coming to the west but now we’ve got confirmation in the form of an official Steam page and the release title – The First Descendant.

“The First Descendant is a free third-person cooperative action RPG shooter featuring high-quality graphics. Experience the fun of strategic boss fights through 4-player co-op and various unique characters, exciting gunplay, and looting. A variety of equipment is necessary for growth, and you can obtain them through clearing scenario missions within the game or in the World Missions where cooperation is crucial and battles with huge bosses.”

Interested Steam users can now wishlist the game and request access to the upcoming beta tests, the first of which is tentatively scheduled to start on September 28^th.
