The Cycle: Frontier Previews Season 3’s New Big, Bad, Flying Menace
Fortuna III is going to get a lot more dangerous than it already is with the arrival of The Cycle: Frontier’s first flying creature, aptly-named the Howler. Not only does it fly, it also roams around the entire map as it sees fit, ready to bring death from above to unwary Prospectors.
“In a word, the Howler is a new big bad monster that’s set to land on Season 3, adding another layer of danger to the already hostile world of Fortuna III. It flies, it roams, and it screams so loud your ears will be ringing for a couple of days.”
The flying menace officially takes flight on March 29th alongside the start of Season 3 which also promises new faction campaigns and missions which will force you to eventually hunt down the Howler. The upcoming season will also feature various matchmaking improvements as well as the addition of free loadouts from your chosen faction. These basic gear loadouts will allow you to drop onto the surface of the planet without having to spend money on gear. You’ll also get to keep them as long as you can safely evacuate from the planet.
