The Crew: Wild Run Will Hold A Closed Beta On October 15th

Ubisoft announced today that they will be holding a closed beta test for The Crew: Wild Run, the latest expansion for their MMO-Car-PG, from October 15th to October 19th. While the expansion pack itself will not be available until November 17th, a large portion of the expansion's content will be available for players to test.

This beta will be the first time that players can take part in "The Summit." The Summit is billed as "an event where car culture is celebrated across a multi-dimensional competition with the widest variety of vehicles" and "the largest challenge in a driving game to date."

The beta will also allow players access to the game's new vehicles: dragsters, drift cars, monster trucks, and motorcycles. Various PvE and PvP missions will be made available. Even Freedrive activities will be unlocked during the beta. Various graphical improvements made will be "showcased" during the testing period, as well.

As of this writing, they have not announced how progress made during the beta will be handled. Nevertheless, interested players can register for the closed beta here.
