The Black Watchmen Receives First Community Missions

Persistent ARG The Black Watchmen had a problem. During the time between in-game Seasons of content, nothing was there to hold players' interest. It could take several months after the end of one Season before development of the next was complete. By then, players might have moved on. So the team at Alice and Smith decided to add Community Missions.

Community Missions, or "Community Sandbox Missions," are exactly what they sound like—missions made by players. Players go to the forums and write a summary of what their mission will be like. If their mission gets ten or more likes, it will be "entered in the queue of Missions to be released."

The first two Community Missions, Help! I'm Trapped in the Lab by nikel and Operation Violet Sunrise by Felicity, have already made it into the game. The plan is to continue to have Community Missions "released regularly in between Seasons."
