This Is How Territory Wars Work In Revelation Online

In its continued effort to detail all of Revelation Online's systems, My.com has published a new blog post detailing Territory Wars. While we've been given a brief overview of Territory Wars in the past, this post gives us a more in-depth look at how they work.

There are three regions, each with three territories, in which Territory Wars occur; the three regions are known as Eastbreden, Midbreden, and Westland. Those surrounding these regions and teritories will be locked in battle over them.

Each "bastion" features different "intricate geomorphic features" that require players to adapt their strategy for taking control to them. As the post puts it, "some battlefields are more suitable for frontal assaults, while some require a roundabout surprise." Those defending must be aware of any weak points in the bastion's defense, while those attacking must take into account how many people will be defending. Defenders must defend their Valor Mark until the Territory War is over in order to keep their bastion.

When taking on a larger guild, the game allows you to form an alliance with other small guilds in order to have the numbers to take it down. Additionally, "attribute bonuses, turrets, battle chariots, respawn portals, etc." add to the complexities of the battlefield.

Interestingly, during Territory Wars, "all information is searchable." You can easily ascertain the number of opponents, their classes and levels, what kinds of defenses they have, and more. This can then be used to formulate your strategy for taking the bastion.
