Terratech Worlds Is An Upcoming Vehicle-Oriented Co-op Survival Title Coming To Steam

Another co-op survival game is looming on the horizon in the form of Payload Studios’ Terratech Worlds. Like most survival games, Payload’s take on the genre drops players into a dangerous world where players will need to gather resources, build a base, and work their way up from surviving to actually thriving in the virtual world. What sets it apart from its predecessors is that players will also be able to construct high-tech vehicles to help them get around.
“As a freelance Prospector, you’ll explore, mine, build, craft and battle your way through natural hazards and very real enemies, to harness the power of your environment. Play solo or with friends, via 6 player online co-op (PvE), and get ready to adventure across alien frontiers, conquer natural hazards, build epic factory bases and battle AI enemies as you build your way toward planetary mastery.”
Terratech Worlds will also feature a dynamic weather, a day/night cycle, terraformable terrain, and enemies with different needs and behavior. It’s built from the ground up in UE5 and claims to be optimized for large scale operations.
Payload has yet to lock in a launch date but they did release a limited-time demo for Steam Next Fest last week, which unfortunately is no longer available. It shouldn’t be too long of a wait though, as the game’s early access roadmap shows a potential launch window of summer 2024. In the meantime, you can check out the official announcement trailer below.
