Nacon Announces Terminator Post-Apocalyptic Open-World Survival Game

“I’ll be back,” one of the most iconic lines from the Terminator movies. The infamous cyborg assassin is once again returning, not as a movie (God knows we’ve had enough of those.), but as a new open world survival game called the Terminator Survival Project from French video game publisher and developer Nacon. Whether that’s a working title or the actual one is still unclear although, honestly, it kind of works.
“Fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic open world where the last vestiges of humanity are hounded by terrifying machines.”
Terminator Survival Project will be the first-ever survival game set in the Terminator universe and will feature an original story based on the events of the movies.
“The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic open world and features an original story that builds on the events of the official films,” said Nacon Milan. “You play as a group of nuclear apocalypse survivors fighting to stay alive in a time period between Judgment Day and the creation of John Connor's resistance.”
Unfortunately, that’s all the details that we have on the game at the moment. We’re not even sure if it will be an MMO or a multiplayer game. But, the studio did drop a quick teaser trailer featuring the T-800 model played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movies, which you’ll find right down below.
Terminator Survival Project will be launching on both PC and consoles in “the future”, hopefully one that doesn’t have self-aware AI controlling killer robots.
