TERA's September Producer's Letter Outlines Future Plans, New Starting Experience
TERA's September Producer's Letter is here and it looks to outline the state of the game and plans for the future. Patrick "Treeshark" Sun talks about the changes the team have been making to the game, as well as changes that might be just around the corner.

Sun first addresses the recent changes. The Dreamstorm, BuddyUp, and Gridiron battlefield have brought several issues with them that should be addressed by patches in the near future. Gold drops have seen a sizable reduction to combat botting. Dungeon drops are going to be improved but the exact manner in which they will be is yet to be decided upon. Recent lag issues are being investigated but they are a complex matter involving changes made to third-party software and will take time to fix.
Looking forward, Bluehole have completely revamped TERA's starting experience. Not only will there be new character creation and selection screens, the Island of Dawn is going to be replaced entirely. The new island will feature a story revolving around the giant tree that towers over the island. Community-designed costume sets will also see their first introduction in October. A new class, the Brawler, will be introduced shortly after. It will be gender and race locked to human females. Her primary weapon will be powered gauntlets that she punches things with.
As a final note, the letter introduces Matt "Denommenator" Denomme as the new Senior Producer for TERA. He and Sun will be increasing their forum presence in the near future.
