TERA's Next Update Brings The Guilded Age To Arborea

TERA's next update is The Guilded Age, and launches later this month, September 2016, putting "a fresh new spin on what it means to be in a guild;" guilds are getting a makeover.
To start off, guilds will have caps on the numbers of players that can join: 300 characters and 100 unique player accounts. And the number of members in your guild determines its size, which in-turn determines what guild quests are available and quest rewards.
A guild quest system will be added to the Guild UI, so that leaders and members with the right badge can take on quests for the entire guild. Quests come in four flavors:
- Premium: World Bosses
- Boss: Dungeon Bosses
- BG: Victories in battlegrounds
- Gather: Gathering crafting materials from nodes.
Guilds then have between two and 12 hours to complete a quest. And you want to complete quests, because guilds earn experience and level up, opening up access to special skills and perks. It's a neat system I enjoy, giving guilds meaning beyond setting up dungeon raids and PvP gangs.
The Gilded Age will launch as a free update later this month, stay tuned for details.
