TERA's Knockout Update Is Out Now

En Masse are hoping to end the year with a Knockout update to TERA. The core of this update is the new Brawler class. The Brawler wields "massive powerfists" in order to combo her enemies into oblivion. She can send enemies flying and deal "massive damage" to BAMs. She is said to "[amp] up TERA's already legendary action combat."

Two new level 65 dungeons are being introduced alongside the Brawler class. Kalivan's Dreadnaught is a "huge pirate ship infested with BAMs and bosses." Completing it will reward the player with Dreadnaught gear, new Tier 8 gear that gives "a PvP edge" and the power necessary to take on the Forsaken Island. The Forsaken Island has "some of the toughest bosses in the game" and rewards players with crafting materials for Tier 9 Starfall gear.

Additionally, logging in now will allow players to take part in the "Brace For Impact" event. The event runs until January 12th and gives out Brawler-themed prizes, including a new mount.
