Tera Shutting down in Taiwan. Will Re-Launch

OMG Digital had to announce a bit of a surprise recently, as they announced that they would shut down Tera in their region (Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) on November 18, 2015. The reason for the shut down was due to disagreements between the publisher (OMG Digital) and Tera's developer (Bluehole Studio). Players in the region need not worry though, as this should only be a minor inconvenience. Bluehole Studios and a new publisher will operate Tera in the region and OMG Digital announced that they would hold onto character data and hand it over to the new publisher.

OMG Digital had been running Tera in the region for around 3 years prior to this announcement. The switch will definitely be an inconvenience to players, but the game will live on. The U.S. version of Tera continues to thrive, as it's the most popular MMORPG on Steam.
