TERA Previews Upcoming Gardan Of The Ice Update

TERA gives players a preview of Patch 103, a.k.a. Gardan of the Ice, which will be rolling out during the next scheduled maintenance.

Gardan of the Ice will feature a new Killing Grounds instance where players will have the chance to take on an icy new boss named Gardan in the hopes of acquiring materials needed to craft the new Kaia's Soul Gear hand and footwear to match with the previously-released weapons and armor. The new instance is available in normal and hard difficulties.

“Gardan is a berserker who employs an array of icy attacks to bring the pain. Watch out when he goes apoplectic, and be prepared for his attempts to lock you and your companions in a dome of ice. This shrinks the combat area and lets Gardan get up close and personal – just the way he likes it!”

Etchings will also be made permanent with the upcoming patch. 30-day etchings will turn into a permanent version while 60-day etchings will turn into two permanent versions. The update will also apply to etchings already applied to equipment as long as their timers haven’t expired by the time the update goes live.
