Techwars Online 2 Is Back On Greenlight After Being Removed From Steam For Gaming The System

Just over a week ago, the developers of Techwars Online and Techwars Online 2 were caught using multiple Steam accounts to post fake positive reviews of their game. At the time, the developers insisted that they didn't do it and asked Valve to take a look into the matter.

Yesterday, exactly one week after the games were removed, as if like clockwork, the second game was relisted on Greenlight. Interestingly, the account that originally listed both games on Greenlight was not the one that listed the second game this time. Instead, it is a seemingly new, level 0 account that has no games played and only one item on Greenlight. This is exceptionally interesting because, depending on the circumstances surrounding the game being relisted, that simple fact could be a tacit admission of guilt in regards to using multiple Steam accounts to game the system.

Whatever the case, Valve has either yet to notice or yet to remove the listing. We will be sure to keep you updated as the story progresses.
