Team-Based Vehicle Combat Game KEO Launches Into Steam Early Access

Remember Twisted Metal and how fun it was to drive around the map trying to blow each other up? Well, a new game called KEO has just launched into Steam Early Access that just might be the spiritual successor that everyone has been waiting for.

“It is the year 2120, humans battle for resources in an intense combat sport using high-tech remote controlled vehicles scavenged from the old world that was destroyed 66 years ago. Battle in this team-based online multiplayer vehicle combat game set in a sci-fi post-apocalyptic world featuring different game modes such as Deathmatch, and Domination. Build your loadout to suit your playstyle and balance your team to dominate the battlefield.”

Players can choose from six different vehicle classes and a huge arsenal of weapons that they can strap on top of their fully-customizable rides, including gattling guns, missile launchers, plasma beams, EMP grenades, landmines, and more.

The current Early Access build comes with two classic game modes, Deathmatch and Domination, with more to be added in the future, team racing and ranked modes among them. Full release is tentatively scheduled for sometime in 2022 barring any unexpected problems.
