Kakao Games and Korean VR game developer Reality MagiQ has kicked off global closed beta testing for their dystopian survival sandbox game Dysterra. The CBT version features a bigger world to explore, a team system, a revamped UI, and a single-player mode for players who want to familiarize themselves with the game without the pressure of having to deal with other survivors.

“Single Player is a separate server where you can fully enjoy the world of Dysterra yourself,” explained Kakao in the official press release. “Before playing in the Official Server, you can control settings just for yourself without any disruptions from other players in Single Player. Also, you can start a new or continue game whenever you want from where you stopped.”

Interested players can request access to the closed beta on Steam while testing itself will run until July 20 at 8am PST. As for a release date, Kakao Games has yet to announce one but the game is expected to arrive sometime this year. In the meantime, you can now wishlist the game on Steam.
