SUPERVIVE Hits Version 1.0 With New Armory System and Map Overhaul

SUPERVIVE, the free-to-play team moba-like shooter / battle royale from former Riot and Bungie developers at Theorycraft Games, has left Early Access and launched its full 1.0 build on Steam. The update introduces a long-promised progression feature called the Armory, aiming to give players persistent goals that carry over from match to match. The release has already boosted the game’s Steam numbers to a peak of just over 6,000 concurrent players, which is small compared with the 47,000 who tried the early build last November, but a notable jump from the ~650 regulars seen in recent weeks.
The studio has spent the past nine months reworking nearly every system after community feedback highlighted balance issues and a lack of long-term incentives. Version 1.0 addresses those points while adding fresh content designed to keep matches moving faster and reward squad coordination.
- New Armory progression – unlocks gear and stat boosts that persist between sessions, giving players long-term goals beyond the Battle Pass.
- Expanded Breach map – larger play space with traversal zip-lines, jetstreams, and dynamic storm clouds that alter sightlines.
- Skyshark vehicle – a two-seat aerial craft with boost and onboard weapons for fast rotations or late-game ambushes.
- Three additional Hunters – one available now, two more coming soon, pushing the roster past a dozen playable characters since the Open Beta.
- Core systems refresh – quicker revives, improved solo queue quality-of-life, and overhauled matchmaking logic.
- Client and UI rebuild – new HUD, mission tracker, and a cleaner in-game store.
- Mode tweaks – Warm-Up and Arena modes rebalanced for smoother pacing and Armory integration.
Early Access veterans aren’t being left out. Anyone who played before the patch can claim a carrot-themed “Rooty” wisp cosmetic and a Champion callsign. Players with 40 or more hours get an “OG” glider and the Theorycrafter title, while all previous Battle Pass owners receive a 200,000 EXP boost.
