Storyline Revealed For Neverwinter’s Upcoming Sea Of Moving Ice Update
Last week, Perfect World Entertainment announced their plans to release an update for Neverwinter called Sea of Moving Ice. The update is expected to roll out on November 8th and will wrap up the Storm King’s Thunder storyline as players face off against the overwhelming forces of Jarl Storvald in the floating ice fields north of Neverwinter. John Hopler, Neverwinter’s Senior Content Designer, writes:
“The Sea of Moving Ice is the location of the final chapter of the Storm King’s Thunder story. The heroes must follow Storvald and his army of frost giants and slaves into the Jarl’s backyard and find some way to assault the frost giant leader’s stronghold, Svardborg. You will once again be adventuring with Wulfgar, Cattie-brie, and Artus Cimber. Kavatos Stormeye, a powerful wizard and member of the Arcane Brotherhood, has come north to aid the heroes and fill the void left by Makos.”
In their quest to defeat Storvald and his army, players will build ties with the Elk Tribe, bump heads with an angry rune-eating ice troll, and run into a few other surprises besides.
