Steam Breaks A Record: 14 Million Concurrent Users

Steam has done it again, beating its own record by surpassing 14 million concurrent users for the first time, on January 08, 2017. If you hurry, you can see it for yourself by visiting the Steam Stats page—but the page only displays the last 48 hours.
You may ask, "when was the previous record set?" Funny enough, not too long ago. Steam reported 12.3 million concurrent users just on January 04, 2017, according to Gamasutra. That didn't take long.
The same record broken 4 days apart shows just how powerful and widespread Steam is. Now if only Valve could do something about curation; just because there's 14 million users doesn't mean each one of them needs a bad game to play.
