Zombie Survival Game State Of Decay 2 Release Date And Price Announced
If you’re a zombie survival game fan, then this news is for you. Microsoft Studios has finally announced a release date and price for State of Decay 2. The highly-awaited multiplayer sequel to State of Decay which came out in 2013. State of Decay 2 is scheduled for release on May 22nd with a $29.99 price tag for the Standard Edition, and $49.99 for the Ultimate Edition.
If you were expecting to pay more for the game, well you’re not alone. Aaron Greenberg, GM of Games Marketing, explains the relatively low price tag on IGN. “Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with the State of Decay community and to foster deeper experiences with the franchise. We believe State of Decay 2 accomplishes this goal by immersing fans in the ultimate zombie survival fantasy, and we want to give more players the opportunity to join in and experience this unique game.”
The Ultimate Edition will include a four-day head start, State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition for Xbox One, and access to two upcoming DLCs: Independence Pack and Daybreak Pack. Both DLC release dates have yet to be announced.
State of Decay 2 is a four-player cooperative game which follows the same premise as the original game. with players exploring small towns in the US while trying to survive in the zombie-ridden post-apocalyptic world. You’ll find the official E3 reveal trailer after the break.
