Star Citizen Alpha 3.21 Adds New Missions And A New Bomber-Class Ship

Star Citizen is slowly moving closer to full launch (emphasis on slowly) as Cloud Imperium Games rolls out Alpha 3.21 ahead of this weekend’s CitizenCon 2023. Dubbed Mission Ready, the update introduced a handful of new missions, a new bomber-type ship, and a long list of fixes for the space simulation MMO.
With Alpha 3.21’s release, players can now take on three brand-new missions that will task players with stealing evidence from Post Kareah, retrieving packages from various underground facilities, and repeling invaders on the new Orison platforms.
The update also introduced a new bomber to the in-development game’s growing list of ships in the form of the Crusader A1 Spirit. The new bomber may be smaller in size compared to the Hercules bomber, but it still packs a big punch and is able to drop a devastating payload on target, as a bomber should.
Meanwhile, Cloud Imperium has taken a big step towards server meshing and its vision of a single shared environment for players as it begins testing a new version of its replication layer. The updated replication layer is available for testing on a new preview server if you’re planning on checking it out. You can also read up on Alpha 3.21 in the latest patch notes.
