Digital Extremes Locks In Soulframe’s ‘Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Alpha’ Test For Mid-December

Digital Extremes took time during their latest developer livestream to share more details about its upcoming multiplayer fantasy action game, Soulframe.
One of the more notable bits of information that the team revealed is a “pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha” test for the in-development title set for mid-December. They didn’t mention how long the test will run for, but they did confirm that online co-op will be available right off the bat.
The playtest will primarily focus on the game’s combat system and will be an extremely early build with a limited number of NPCs, and possibly a lot of bugs, so keep your expectations low. Testers, however, are encouraged to provide honest feedback to help point the developers on the right track. You’ll be able to pet a big fluffy direwolf though, which should make up for the playtest’s lack of content.
Invites to the early playtest will be sent out to a few hundred players in waves and will be scaled up from there. You can throw your name into the hat by signing up on the Soulframe official website.
