British video game publisher Sold Out Games have rebranded themselves as Fireshine Studios and released a brand new co-op game called Core Keeper on Steam Early Access in partnership with Swedish developer Pugstorm.

“Core Keeper is a 1-8 player mining sandbox adventure set in an ancient cavern of creatures, treasures and trinkets. Mine relics and resources to build your base, craft new equipment and survive. Defeat giant monsters, discover hidden secrets, farm crops, go fishing, cook new recipes and explore a procedurally generated underground world to unravel the mystery of the ancient core.”

The Early Access version comes with a plethora of new features which were unavailable in last month’s Steam Next Fest demo. These include a fishing system, railroads, electricity, and automation, as well as a new nature biome, three new bosses, new enemies, new items, and new weapons. Players who played the demo will be able to continue their worlds, characters, items, and progress into the current build.

Core Keeper is currently being offered at 10% discount on Steam until March 16th, at which point the price will return to $12.99. Check out the official launch trailer below.
