Smilegate Unveils New Details for Card-Based RPG "Chaos Zero Nightmare"

Smilegate has shared new information on its upcoming gacha RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN), following the release of a development announcement trailer titled "The Protogenesis Showcase". The game, developed by Super Creative (owned by Smilegate), is set to offer a card-based combat system and a diverse cast of characters, marking another entry in the growing genre of collectible RPGs with strategic elements. Pre-registration for CZN is now open on several platforms, and the official website has launched alongside the announcement. While there's definitive release date, the App Store page says "Expected Oct 15, 2025".

Chaos Zero Nightmare is developed by the same studio that made the mobile hit Epic Seven. The similarities betweeen both titles is apparent in the gameplay trailer. The new trailer, presented in multiple languages, introduces the game's main systems and showcases the unique approach CZN is taking within the RPG and card battler space.
