Several Elite: Dangerous Announcements Made At EGX

For those of us not fortunate enough to make it to EGX this year, the team at Frontier Developments have sent out a newsletter detailing the major announcements made. Horizons will include multi-crew ships, allowing players to pilot ships with friends. A new Commander Creator, seemingly not unlike that of EvE Online, will allow players to make their commanders their own. Ships will be able to carry a small fighter craft that can be launched during a particularly hairy fight. All of this sounded great. And then there were bobbleheads.

Bobbleheads are Frontier's latest way of adding more microtransactions. They will sit on your dash, as you would expect any bobblehead in a vehicle would do. The first in line is a limited-run Commander Braben bobblehead, created for those of you who want Elite: Dangerous' co-creator staring at you the entire time you play the game.
