SEAL Mobile Is The Latest Mobile RPG Based On A Classic MMORPG

It seems like this year has brought with it a flood of new mobile RPGs based on classic MMO franchises. A mobile RPG based on RF Online was announced in January. The CosmicBreak mobile RPG launched last month. There's even a mobile RPG based on Travia. Today, MMOCulture uncovered a new addition to the growing list of mobile RPGs based on classic MMO franchises: SEAL Mobile.

When I think of SEAL Online, I almost always think of this 1v1 PvP video where a guy adeptly used six different potions from his inventory in a set order over and over, using each of the six potions approximately once every second, until someone won the match. SEAL Mobile isn't anything like that, though. It is a mobile hero collecting RPG featuring automated combat that may look more intense than your average game with automated combat, but ultimately boils down to the same amount of input. As with other games of its type, you collect heroes and then send them out on adventures. Along the way, they will do battle, during which time you will watch them beat up the enemies while also making sure to activate their special moves at opportune times.

SEAL Mobile features both solo and "open world" content, the latter of which requires players to choose a single hero that they will use, rather than have their party explore the open world. It has various PvE and PvP modes, including various modes intended to be played by groups or guilds.

According to MMOCulture, the gacha is somewhat more forgiving than other games of its kind. This is largely due to the fact that players can obtain summoning cards and rare hero fragments from quests.

SEAL Mobile is out now on the App Store and Google Play in Indonesia, Taiwan, and Thailand. While a Western release is uncertain at this time, the game is in English, meaning that it is easily playable, so long as you can can get a hold of the game itself.
