Sea Of Thieves Pits Pirates Against Each Other In Its Skull Of The Siren Song PvP Event

Sea of Thieves’ tenth season is turning out to be a pretty big one in terms of content with the introduction of a new PvP event called Skull of the Siren Song, hot on the heels of its new guild system. The new competitive activity pits players against each other in a race to claim valuable treasure and earn ship parts and exclusive Captain Briggsy cosmetics.
For those who’d rather not participate in PvP, the Pirate Emporium cash shop has also been updated with the Ravenwood collection which was first offered as part of Season 8’s Plunder Pass. The collection contains the titular ship set, the Ravenwood Spyglass, and a bundle of four weapons. The Festival of Plenty instruments are also back in the cash shop for a limited time.
“Building on Guilds to bulk out Season Ten’s feature set, the Skull of Siren Song Voyage offers an intriguing shake-up to the Sea of Thieves sandbox, but that’s not all you have to look forward to before the Season’s over,” developer Rare teased. “Next up in December is the third and final major content update of Season Ten: Safer Seas! In this new game mode, pirates will be able to sail alone or with a single crew of friends within their own private world for the first time.”
In the meantime, you can brush up on the Skull of the Siren Song’s mechanics in the new trailer below.
