Sea Of Thieves Adds Premium Halo-Themed Cosmetics And Delays Next Adventure

Sea of Thieves crosses over into the sci-fi realm with the addition of Halo-themed cosmetics in the pirate sandbox MMORPG’s cash shop. Starting today, players will be able to purchase a Spartan-like head gear and a variety of weapons, plasma cannon effects, and emotes inspired by the popular first-person shooter.

For those who’d rather not spend money on cosmetics, there’s a free Puzzling Pancakes emote up for grabs when you login between February 17^th and February 24^th.

On a more disappointing note, Lead Designer Christopher Davies has confirmed that there will be a longer gap before the release of the next Adventure. The team has decided to push back the next narrative questline to make way for the game’s 5^th anniversary and to give Season 9 “time to shine.” Davies also promises various surprises coming in the near future and plenty more stories to tell.
