Saga of Lucima Previews Character Creation

"No Solo" MMORPG Saga of Lucima has released a video walkthrough of their pre-alpha character creation system.  The system seems almost tabletop like with a wide array of 8 stats:  Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Cunning, Constitution, Charisma, Discipline and Perception which can be tailored to any playstyle with a few caveats.   Stats cannot go below 10... not allowing for any dump stats and only one stat can be maxed at 20, with only two more after that able to reach 18.  This system is set up to prevent people from being godlike in too many stats.

Masteries and Skills are also determined by these stats, but are pickable, allowing players a fully class-less system.  Players that might find this a bit rough can use pre-made templates for easier creation.

Quite an interesting character creation system, where most developers fear to move into.
