Russian FPS Hired Ops Headed To Steam Early Access Soonish

Russian developed Hired Ops is a first person shooter that will be debuting on Steam as an Early Access some time before the year's end. The game was formally known as Contract Wars Standalone, which apparently has "48 million players globally," according to developer AbsolutSoft.
Hired Ops is a self-described "session-based online shooter" which pits mercenary groups in brawls across the world. Players will pick between one of 5 classes, "each featuring an elaborately crafted skill system and an arsenal rich in weapon variety and weapon modifications. Hired Ops includes a diverse mix of game modes, including the 'Enhanced Realism' mode."
Hired Ops is touting a variety of game modes, including search and destroy, night ops, Elimination, and assault. While a skill tree will be used to hone a preferred playstyle. It reads like players will gain levels and become more powerful over time: so a blend of RPG and FPS.
We'll see how many features are included in the Early Access state Q4 2016—soonish.
