RuneScape Kingdoms Board Game Has Amassed Over $500K On Kickstarter

Steamforged Games’ RuneScape-inspired RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg board game is proving to be extremely popular on Kickstarter. The $125,000 crowdfunding campaign has already amassed over $560,000 in pledges with 8 days left until it closes.

“Explore the sometimes epic, often irreverent fantasy world of Gielinor in RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg, the 1-5 player co-op campaign game. The game’s successful Kickstarter campaign can partly be attributed to Jagex’ promotion of the board game. Although, it begs the question of why Jagex didn’t just throw funding at it in the first place.

Steamforged is looking to release the game in November 2023 barring any unexpected problems along the way.
